Unspoilt and typically French with great skiing for all levels
St. Martin de Belleville stands at 1450m to 3200m and is one of the Alps’ best kept secrets. It is ski-in and ski-out and one of the villages that make up the world-famous “Three Valleys” with over 600km of pistes and 183 ski lifts. Much investment has been made in the area over recent years and a fast 8 person telecabine and 4 person chair lift take you to 2,400m in ten minutes. The other resorts in the region are Courchevel, La Tania, Meribel, Brides-les-Bains, Val Thorens, Les Menuires and Orelle.
In the village you will find snow-laden roofs, a pretty town square, Baroque church, nice bars with open fireplaces and farm shops full of local cheeses and saucisson. Being typically French it has all the usual facilities on the doorstep including a range of cafes, traditional restaurants (where you could try the Savoyade food), a boulangerie, supermarket, trattoria, gift shop, ski hire shops and even a Michelin Star restaurant (La Boitte).
